How the estimate works

The calculator finds the template footprint, multiplies it by average water depth, then converts cubic feet to US gallons. Round and oval templates use an ellipse; the kidney template is a planning approximation. For an engineered custom shape, use the volume listed on the approved plan or equipment schedule.
