Honey-Do Squad ("we", "us") operates https://honeydosquad.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain-English.

Information we collect

No account, no sign-up. You can use every calculator without giving us any personal information.

Your projects stay on your device. Project names, dimensions, stages, materials, prices, purchase states, checkpoints, and notes are saved in your browser's local storage. They are never transmitted to us or stored on our servers. Clearing browser data clears the projects unless you first export a JSON backup.

Standard server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We don't use this to identify you.

Optional project location

If you check for local project help, your ZIP code is matched in your browser and kept in session storage for this tab. Use Clear in the location form to remove it. We do not send the ZIP to analytics. Partner link clicks take you to the contractor’s own website, with its own privacy practices.

Cookies and advertising

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. To do this:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.

Promoted products

We may link to JRIQ, our own estimating software. We may also display direct client sponsorships. Paid placements are labeled “Sponsored”; other promoted businesses are identified as featured local partners, with family relationships disclosed when applicable. Placements may use campaign parameters so we can report aggregate impressions and clicks to the advertiser.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site use, including pages viewed, approximate device and geographic information, referral source, and privacy-safe interactions such as calculator use, project creation, template starts, material additions, stage completion, exports, and sponsored-placement impressions or clicks. Google may process technical identifiers such as IP address and browser/device information to provide the service. We do not send calculator dimensions, project names, notes, prices, or material-list contents to GA4.

You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or compatible privacy tools. For more information, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can delete individual projects from My Projects or clear them by clearing your browser storage. Export JSON first if you want a backup or device transfer. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of personalized ads using the links above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
